Sacred Code
Sacred Code is a discovery of perception. Through photography, ephemeral natural formations reveal structures that often go unnoticed. The images capture patterns—primarily sand shaped by wind, water, gravity, and time—that exist briefly before dissolving.
Nothing in these images is constructed or digitally altered. What may appear abstract or painterly is entirely natural. The camera extends my eye; I attend to what has already taken shape. The work continues through each viewer’s own act of seeing.
Impermanence is central to the project. Many of these formations vanish within minutes or hours. The photograph holds a fleeting appearance after the pattern itself has changed.
The mystery is found in the field, and comes alive again each time someone looks.
